Are all carpet cleaning methods the same?
Absolutely not. First, if you aren't getting your carpet cleaned with a powerful, truck mounted steam cleaner, then some of the dirt is being left behind, and your carpet will take longer to dry deep down. (Sadly other cleaners know that wet carpet which is walked on leads to quick repeat business). Second, the technician operating the equipment has great impact on the final quality. The speed, the cleaning agents, and methods come from many years of experience and 1000's of carpets. You will notice the difference the Blue Truck's combination of equipment and know how. We know you will be satisfied with the highest quality cleaning you will find in Central Oregon.
When does Blue Truck Carpet Cleaning take appointments?
We are very flexible and will work hard to meet your scheduling needs.
How long after cleaning can I walk on my carpet?
4 to 8 hours. Our powerful truck mounted equipment with massive suction will draw out most of the deep moisture. But there will be a small amount of dampness which usually takes 4 to 8 hours to dry, depending on air flow. We ask you to avoid walking on the carpet until it is dry. This will protect your investment.
Why is pet urine a unique problem?
We love our pets, but sometimes our carpet has a different relationship with them. In the ideal world, you would call Blue Truck right after the stain was placed. If so, I can get you back to like new right away. The longer you wait, the more the urine will soak into the carpet padding and into the floor below. If you then spray cleaner, and/or deodorizer, it begins to spread out. As it spreads, the bacteria, which naturally eats the urine, will begin to put out the odor that we associate with pet urine. As it spreads down and spreads out it becomes harder to eliminate. If you call me at this point, I can give you an assessment of the work involved to get you clean and fresh. Because I truly care about the final results, this can be a complicated discussion. In the best case, I can spend some extra time on the spot (or spots) and get it nice and clean. Other times I will have to go over the spot[s] more than once. At times I will recommend you pull up the carpet and replace the pad at least, and maybe the carpet as well. Please note that I care deeply about your satisfaction with the results after I am gone. Balancing quality with cost is especially challenging with this type of spot. However I must tell you that this is exactly the reason why I have loyal customers that will use no one else.
Do you do quick and inexpensive work?
No. If you truly are looking for just the low cost option, I likely do not have a solution for you. We understand that for some situations you just want the minimum done, and you don't have much budget. It honestly hurts me too much to do a less than thorough job, so I am not the one to hire if this is your situation.
Do you remove spots?
Yes. Very well too! Note that the number and type of spots you have, will affect the quote. Good news is that our stains usually get easier to remove as we get older. Popsicle Red Die #3 is much harder to clean than wine.
Do I need to move my furniture?
It is optional. It takes Blue Truck just as long to clean around furniture as it does to clean with it moved out of the way. So it depends on if you want the carpet under the furniture cleaned.
Who can move my furniture?
You can. Or Blue Truck can, for a fee. Or you can hire someone to do this for you. I can recommend a solution if you would like.
